Be part of a unique exhibition built by you, our community! FREE to exhibit. One day only at the 2025 Medium Festival of Photography.  

The 2025 Festival will showcase an exhibition of photographic prints by members of the regional community. This open call means ALL are welcome to exhibit their work. Make plans to participate inside Bread & Salt on Saturday, March 22 and be featured at the 2025 festival.

What to expect

When visitors enter the Photography Marketplace and speaker’s stage area at the Medium Festival they have the opportunity to explore our Community Exhibition. The exhibit will feature original photographs installed by each artist on a series of display panels. We will have information about each artist beside their work and ways for the public to connect with artists directly for purchases, general inquiries, and community.

Photographs must be unframed and on paper no larger than 11”x14”. Each print will be hung by you beginning at 9:30am on Saturday March 22. We will supply you with an informational card to hang next to your work that shares your name, the artwork title and your social media handle or website. All participating artists are required to sign a liability release, and must pick up the prints no later than 5:00pm on March 22. Prints left beyond this time will be considered property of Medium Photo.

Participants are allowed to install up to two works of art, free of charge, as part of the Community Exhibition.

How to participate

  1. Print your work before March 21. Allow space for push pins on the paper during installation.

  2. Arrive to the Festival beginning at 9:30am on March 22 to install your work.

  3. Once on site our team will help you fill out an ID card for the artwork and have you sign a liability release.

  4. Choose your preferred location on the display panels and hang your work.

  5. Stay on site for the festival events, artist tables, talks and more, or return at 4:00pm to remove your work.

  6. Stick around for our community gathering with tacos and drinks at Mujeres Brewery beginning at 5:00pm!

Location

The Medium Festival of Photography Community Exhibition is located inside Bread & Salt, for ONE DAY ONLY, March 22, 2025.

We will have a dedicated parking lot for VIP Pass holders and free street parking. Biking to the festival and ride sharing are the preferred way to attend.
