Medium Review FAQ’s
When does registration for the 2024 Review close?
Registration for the 2024 Medium Review is open through Jan. 15, 2024. We offer 65 spaces filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all review spaces have filled we wil begin a wait list.
What do I get with the Review registration?
You will receive a minimum of 8 review meetings with our 2024 Reviewers, in addition to the 2024 Keynote Lecture held live in San Diego on April 26, as well as all public facing festival events on April 27. Participating photographers have the opportunity to upload short video introductions and share pdf promotional pieces available to participating reviewers.
What is the Big Pass?*
The Big Pass is our VIP pass, including the Medium Review, VIP reception, discounts in our Pop Up Shop, and a seat on our bus tour of studios and exhibition spaces in Tijuana, Mexico.
What if I need to cancel?
We offer refunds with no questions asked until December 1, 2023. After that time we offer refunds if we are able to fill your space through our waiting list. All refunds requested before December 9, 2023 include a $100 processing fee. Refunds requested after December 1 will be honored after the space has been filled by another photographer, and include a $100 processing fee.
Can I transfer my portfolio review space to another photographer?
Yes! If you need to cancel and we do not have photographers on our wait list we will honor your registration for another photographer of your choosing. You won’t be charged an administrative fee and must notify Medium of the change in writing. Transferred registrations must be completed before January 26, 2024 to be reflected in our annual Photographer’s Index. We do not allow review registration to be divided among photographers (i.e. you and a friend cannot divide your review meetings for a single registration).
What is the cost to attend the Medium Review?
Medium Review registration is $695. The Big Pass is $795. Members at the Supporter level and above receive discounted registration.
